Pierre Permingeat began their career as a Consultant at Arcturus Group in 2011. Pierre then volunteered at the Committee for the Rights of Abused Orphans (COVA) from 2011 to 2013. In 2012, Pierre worked as a Research Assistant at McGill University and the University of Toronto. Pierre also volunteered at the Legal Information Clinic at McGill during that time. In 2013, they were a Summer Student at Heenan Blaikie and an Intern at the Center for Research-Action on Race Relations (CRARR). From 2014 to 2015, Pierre served as an Articling Student at Borden Ladner Gervais LLP. Pierre continued their career at the same firm, transitioning to the role of Lawyer from 2015 to 2021. In 2021, Pierre joined Capstone Infrastructure Corporation as a Legal Counsel, and in 2022 they were promoted to Senior Legal Counsel.
Pierre Permingeat completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Political Science at Sciences Po Aix from 2006 to 2010. Pierre then pursued a Master of Arts (M.A.) in European Political and Administrative Studies at Sciences Po Aix from 2010 to 2011. Lastly, they obtained their BCL/LLB degree in Law from McGill University, where they studied from 2011 to 2014.
