Jana Blankenship

Founder at Captain Blankenship

Jana Blankenship has a wealth of experience in the art world. Jana began their career in 2009 as the Founder of Captain Blankenship. In 2010, they took on the role of Curator at the Wattis Institute. Jana then moved on to the Istanbul Biennial in 2011, where they served as an Assistant Curator.

Jana Blankenship holds a Bachelor's degree and a BFA from Cornell University, where they studied Art Theirtory and Fine Art from 2000 to 2004. In 2007, they obtained a MA in Curatorial Practice from the California College of the Arts, followed by a Master's degree in Curatorial Practice from the same institution.
