Tim Chiprich

Tim Chiprich is the Vice President of Product Development at Captek Softgel. Tim has over 20 years of experience in the development of new OTC and Nutritional products, as well as improving existing products. Tim has a Bachelor's degree in Biology from Pennsylvania State University and a Master's degree in Food Science from Rutgers University.

Tim began their career as a Research Associate at R.P. Scherer, where they worked for 10 years and 8 months developing nutritional softgel products from product concept through to full scale production. Tim then became the Manager of Nutritional R&D at Leiner Health Products, where they developed new OTC and Nutritional products from concept through to production batches, improved existing products, and participated in Engineering Studies and prevalidation batches. After 5 years and 6 months at Leiner, Tim became the Director of Product Development at Nutrition Express, where they continued to develop new products and improve existing ones.

In their current position as Vice President of Product Development at Captek Softgel, Tim has been responsible for developing enteric softgel coating processes and scaling up and implementing the processes through to full scale production, as well as developing rapid release gelatin coated tablet technology. Tim has also developed new OTC and Nutritional products from concept through to production batches, improved existing products, participated in Engineering Studies and prevalidation batches, and developed enteric softgel coating processes.

Tim Chiprich has a Bachelor of Science from the California University of Pennsylvania in Environmental Science.
