Mark Sakauye

Mark Sakauye has a long and varied work experience. Mark began in 2010 as a Technical Contractor and Technical Consultant for the University of Tennessee Health Science Center. In 2012, they were promoted to Lead Developer/Program Manager and Web Developer/Biomedical Informaticist. In 2015, they moved to Deloitte as a Senior Web Application Developer, where they developed a data management system, a Neo4j and PostgreSQL graph database, and SQL Server scripts. In 2016, they joined Aquicore as a Technical Lead, where they enhanced customer ability to perform job duties, developed a RESTful service, and increased confidence in releases. Finally, in 2020, they joined CaptivateIQ as a Staff Software Engineer, and was later promoted to Senior Software Engineer.

Mark Sakauye attended Boston University from 2007 to 2009, where they studied Computer Science. Mark then transferred to Vanderbilt University, where they earned a BS in Computer Science from 2009 to 2011.
