Piotr Kowalczyk

Piotr Kowalczyk has a diverse work experience in the field of pharmaceutical research and development. Piotr started their career as an R&D Specialist at Adamed in 2001, and later became a Project Manager from 2003 to 2005.

In 2005, they joined UTHSCSA as a Postdoctoral Fellow and later became a Research Scientist from 2009 to 2010.

In 2010, they joined Selvita as a senior scientist and project manager until 2013. From 2013 to 2018, they served as Principal Investigator at Selvita.

In 2019, Piotr joined OncoArendi Therapeutics as a Senior Scientist and Biology Team Leader until 2020. Piotr then assumed the role of Senior Scientist and Portfolio Manager from 2020 to 2021.

Most recently, Piotr joined Captor Therapeutics Ltd in 2021 as a Principal Scientist in Drug Discovery.

Piotr Kowalczyk has a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Oncology from the Centre of Postgraduate Medical Education, which they obtained from 1997 to 2001. Piotr also holds a Master's Degree in molecular biology from the University of Warsaw, acquired between 1992 and 1997. In 2015 to 2017, they pursued an Executive MBA at Kozminski University. Furthermore, Piotr Kowalczyk recently completed a D.Sc. (habilitation) degree from the Medical University of Warsaw's Faculty of Health Sciences in 2021.
