Senior Associate, Business Development at CAPTRUST

Alyson Matlock has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Alyson started their career at Gap Inc. in 1999 as an Inventory Manager, where they managed inventory control. In 2002, they joined Edward Jones as an Office Manager, overseeing office operations for three years.

Alyson then joined Creative Financial Staffing (CFS) in 2005 as a Business Development Manager, responsible for developing and maintaining client relationships. Alyson left in 2008 after three years in the role.

In 2009, Alyson became the Director of Business Development at MFP Strategies, focusing on prospecting and developing corporate clients. Alyson actively sought out organizations to introduce the firm's services, particularly in relation to Qualified, Nonqualified Retirement plans, and Executive Benefits.

Since 2015, Alyson has been working at CAPTRUST as a Senior Associate of Business Development. Alyson is co-responsible for the firm's prospecting and development efforts. Their primary role involves actively seeking out organizations and individuals to introduce CAPTRUST's services and build relationships in relation to Qualified, Nonqualified Retirement plans, and Executive Benefits.

Throughout their career, Alyson's roles have centered around business development and establishing strong client relationships.

Alyson Matlock attended Pen Argyl Area High School from 1990 to 1994. Alyson then pursued higher education at the University of Houston-Downtown from 2001 to 2005 and earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree with a focus on Business Management.
