Dr. Paganussi has been practicing Emergency Medicine for over 30 years and is board certified in the specialty. He graduated from Fordham University with a B.S. in Biological Sciences and received a M.S. in Physiology & Biophysics and a M.D. from Georgetown University School of Medicine. He trained in Emergency Medicine and Cardiac Research at Henry Ford Hospital.
He has served as Chairman of the INOVA Health System IRB for over 14 years and has extensive background in human clinical research trials and he has served as a consultant for several Contract Research Organizations. His Emergency Medicine background includes knowledge & training in biohazards, radiation sickness, disaster medicine and toxicology.
