Naeem Zafar

Naeem Zafar is an advisor at CaptuRisk Inc. and has held previous positions at Northeastern University, Brown University, TeleSense, Silicon Valley TVLP, and Oracle. Naeem has also been a managing partner at Concordia Ventures.

Zafar's career began at UC Berkeley where they studied chemical engineering. After graduation, they started working in the Silicon Valley startup scene. Naeem was a founding member of OPEN Silicon Valley, a non-profit that promotes entrepreneurship and professional development. Naeem also served as the board chair for OPEN Silicon Valley from 2007 to 2017.

In 2014, Zafar joined Oracle as the Vice President of Identity Management following the acquisition of Bitzer Mobile. Naeem successfully led the transition of Bitzer's mobile security products into Oracle's Identity Management product line.

Zafar is originally from Turkey and has a Master's degree in chemical engineering from Ozyegin University.

Naeem Zafar received their Sc. B. in Electrical Engineering from Brown University and their MSEE in Electrical Engineering from the University of Minnesota. Naeem also has a masters in electrical engineering from METU.
