Daniel Knobloch serves as a Wireless System Architect at BMW Group since January 2016, contributing to research on security and distance bounding in vehicle access systems while concurrently pursuing a PhD. In addition, Daniel holds several leadership roles at the Car Connectivity Consortium, including Vice President, President, and Technical WG Chair. Prior experience includes R&D Engineer at Klippel GmbH from October 2010 to December 2015, focusing on the development of hardware and software products, and various roles at Vodafone in 2008 and 2010 related to LTE technologies and business modeling. Daniel earned a Diplom-Ingenieurin (Dipl.Ing.) in Information and System Technology from Technische Universität Dresden between 2004 and 2010.
