Vikas Vemuri serves as the Vice Chair of the Use Case and Requirements Working Group at the Car Connectivity Consortium since February 2024. Currently employed at General Motors as a Connectivity Standards Engineer since January 2017, Vikas represents the company in connectivity standard-setting consortia and has held various roles, including GM Intellectual Property Ambassador and Wireless Lead Engineer for Cellular Connectivity. Prior experience includes wireless engineering at AT&T, interoperability testing at Samsung Telecom Americas, and RF testing at Glow Networks, along with internships in technical patent analysis and research. Vikas holds a Master of Science in Telecommunications from Southern Methodist University and a Bachelor of Technology in Electronics and Communications Engineering from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University.
