Data Scientist at Car IQ

Noah Halpern has worked for a variety of companies since 2013. Noah began their career at Vic's Drum Shop, where they worked as a Database Management, compiling product and sales information into Excel sheets and writing and implementing custom Excel macros. In 2017, they worked as a Guest Researcher at the National Institute of Standards and Technology, where they wrote automated optimization software and accompanying user interface in Python and Qt for laser coupling and other optics applications. From 2018 to 2019, they were Self Employed, tutoring high school level math and science, and providing moving, furniture assembly, delivery driving, and other misc. services via the TaskRabbit platform. In 2020, they attended a twelve-week, full-time, accredited, immersive data science bootcamp at Metis, where they implemented both supervised and unsupervised learning techniques to solve real-world problems and effectively communicate results through five start-to-finish projects (primarily in Python). Noah is currently employed as a Data Scientist and Data Analyst at Car IQ.

Noah Halpern attended Oak Park & River Forest High School from 2011 to 2015. Noah then went on to receive a Bachelor of Science in Physics from The Johns Hopkins University in 2018.
