Carlos Arenas

Carlos Arenas is a Partner at Moonbase Capital, where they specialize in investing in a new asset class that combines the power of entrepreneurship, diversity of VC, and stability of PE. They also serve as the Managing Partner at Caralca Real Estate, a real estate developer with over 1,500 homes under construction. Prior to their current roles, they co-founded Blue Opal Capital Partners and served as the Managing Partner at 40 Capital. They also have experience as a Director of Strategy and Business Development at Egyptian Resorts Company - ERC, Senior Associate at McKinsey & Company, and as an Engineer at Union Fenosa. Carlos holds an MBA from INSEAD and degrees in Chemical Engineering from Universidad Alfonso X El Sabio and Universidad de Huelva.
