Erika Guzman

Erika Guzman has worked as an Environmental Health & Safety Director for Caravan Facilities Management, LLC since September 2006. Before that, they served as a Housekeeping Manager at the Fort Wayne Marriot from April 1999 to September 2006. At the Fort Wayne Marriot, their responsibilities included overseeing the housekeeping department's operations, ensuring guest satisfaction, maintaining hygiene and cleanliness standards, hiring and training staff, developing schedules, purchasing supplies and equipment, and coordinating with other hotel department managers.

Erika Guzman obtained an Associate's degree in Occupational Safety and Health Technology/Technician from Columbia Southern University, completing their studies from 2017 to 2020. Prior to that, they attended Ivy Tech Community College from 2015 to 2016, earning a CPhT (Certified Pharmacy Technician/Assistant) degree. Apart from their academic achievements, Erika also acquired additional certifications in the field of hazardous materials and waste operations. Erika completed the HAZWOPER/HAZMAT certification from New Environment, Inc. in January 2017, followed by the HAZWOPER TRAIN THE TRAINER PROGRAM from the same institution in the same month and year. Before that, they obtained the HAZWOPER EMG RESPONSE certification from the Environmental Management Institute in October 2016.
