CARAVAN OF LIFE - USA is a nonprofit organization committed to changing the landscape of mental health services in Pakistan. Our Mission is to raise awareness about the evidence-based practice of psychiatric rehabilitation in Pakistan. We provide training, education, and technical assistance to mental health organizations that wish to develop over time into centers of excellence in psychiatric rehabilitation. Through ongoing supervision and technical assistance, we will assist these institutions with incorporating principles of mental health recovery and psychiatric rehabilitation into every facet of their service provision. By doing so, Caravan of Life - USA looks to not only improve the quality of life for individuals living with serious mental health conditions, but also educate and assist the family members who support them in their journey. Caravan of Life - USA also encourages institutions of higher learning to incorporate psychiatrists rehabilitation into their curricula. In this way, Caravan of Life - USA hopes to transform the mental health workforce into one that is knowledgeable about the psychiatric rehabilitation principles and technology.
