As vice president of people and culture, Abbe focuses on building an engaged workforce and strong leadership to drive success and support Caravel’s mission. She is committed to innovative training development, creative problem solving, and fostering a dynamic work style and collaborative leadership. Prior to joining Caravel, Abbe served as an active litigator for 12 years—as a public defender at the state level, as civil counsel in state and federal court, and as the assistant general counsel for Chicago Public Schools—before taking on a blended HR/legal role in a corporate setting in 2016. She received her bachelor’s degree at University of Wisconsin and her law degree at Chicago-Kent College of Law.

Abbe Feitelberg

As vice president of patient financial services, Larry focuses on ensuring families can access and continue care through their insurance. Having worked in patient financial services for more than 25 years for both large health systems and small hospitals, he has extensive experience in all facets of the billing cycle. Before joining Caravel in 2017, Larry served as revenue cycle director for a critical access hospital and a large regional health system. He graduated from Northern Michigan University with a major in marketing and received an MBA from Benedictine University.

Larry Ekdahl

As vice president of clinical excellence, Dr. Jodi sustains Caravel’s vision for compassionate, high-quality care. Responsible for the development, implementation, and excellence of clinical programs, she plans and directs improvement practices through education, mentoring, behavioral systems analysis, and ongoing evaluation of clinical operation outcomes. Dr. Jodi has more than 18 years of experience in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA)—providing care, directing clinical and operational programs, consulting, providing training and development opportunities, and conducting research. She is a board certified behavior analyst and earned her doctoral degree in rehabilitation from Southern Illinois University.

Jodi Nuernberger

As chief people officer, Sarah is focused on growing and defining a People Services function that skillfully and agilely supports Caravel’s organizational needs. She has 16 years of human resource experience with large multisite organizations in a variety of industries. Prior to coming to Caravel, Sarah served as director of recruiting at DaVita Dialysis. She graduated with a bachelor’s degree in both psychology and religious studies from Bethel University in St. Paul, Minnesota.

Sarah Jackson

As vice president of technology and security, Fazil focuses on enabling Caravel to continue providing industry-leading ABA therapy to clients and their families. Having worked in technology for both private and public sectors for the past 20 years, he brings a breadth of knowledge in systems, applications, information security, and cloud computing. Before joining Caravel in 2019, Fazil served as senior manager of infrastructure for a leading healthcare management consulting firm. He graduated from Northeastern Illinois University with a major in computer science and a minor in criminal justice.

Mike Miller oversees [Caravel Autism Health](/org/caravel-autism-health)’s business operations. He focuses on creating an environment of operational excellence so that our clinical autism health experts can invest their energies into the continuous improvement in the quality of treatment we offer to children and families. Mike has more than 20 years of experience leading and working with growing businesses that strive to be the best in their fields. Kellogg School of Management at [Northwestern University](/org/northwestern-university).

Mike Miller

As vice president of Marketing and Communications, Gordon provides leadership on cultivating expanded access for the services, managing messaging for all audiences, and championing the Caravel brand. Through these efforts, he directly supports Caravel’s plans to lead the field while also helping the company make meaningful connections with the array of people involved with the mission. In prior roles, Gordon has successfully led teams driving growth for both Fortune 500 companies and more entrepreneurial organizations. Gordon is a graduate of both Amherst College and the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.

Gordon Montgomery

Dr. Lund leads [Caravel Autism Health](/org/caravel-autism-health)’s team of expert clinicians. He has specialized in the treatment of autism spectrum disorders for more than 14 years. Dr. Lund earned his doctorate in clinical psychology and pursued postdoctoral studies in Applied Behavior Analysis and clinical psychopharmacology. A licensed psychologist, Dr. Lund is board certified by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board and the American Board of Professional Psychology. He has developed innovative approaches to treating children with autism based on the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis.

Eric J. Lund

Driven by her passion to change the lives of children with autism, Jackie leads the expansion of [Caravel Autism Health](/org/caravel-autism-health) and the high-quality autism treatment in the state of Minnesota. With over 25 years of leadership experience, she is able to hire, mentor, and support strong clinical teams to provide the very best of treatment to the clients and their families. Jackie earned her bachelor of science degree in elementary education and special education from [Winona State University](/org/winona-state-university) and her master’s degree in special education from the [University of Minnesota](/org/university-of-minnesota), Twin Cities.

Jackie Vick

As chief financial officer of [Caravel Autism Health](/org/caravel-autism-health), Greg is responsible for ensuring that accurate financial information and insightful analysis is provided to all stakeholders. Prior to joining [Caravel](/org/caravel), Greg led several finance teams helping to support organizations through periods of extreme growth. He began his career in public accounting serving companies in the healthcare services and technology industries through the role of senior manager at [KPMG](/org/kpmg).

Greg earned his master’s degree in business administration from the J.L. Kellogg School of Management at [Northwestern University](/org/northwestern-university), a bachelor of science degree in accountancy from the University of Illinois and is a Certified Public Accountant.

Greg Theodorakis

As Caravel’s chief operating officer, Karim is focused on implementing industry-leading technology to deliver high-quality treatment for clients and on establishing operational best practices to drive sustainable growth and market differentiation. He joined the organization in 2022 with more than 18 years of experience in healthcare, having directed multisite and multidisciplinary clinical operations, information technology, and revenue cycle management. Among the organizations Karim has served are Frazier Healthcare Partners, Vericare, and SYMED Behavioral Health. He earned his bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering and telecommunications from the University of Concordia and his MBA from Christian Brothers University.

Karim Chalhoub

Christine has worked in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) for over 20 years. She has served families across various states and portions of Canada and has experience in multiple roles including behavior technician, senior therapist, BCBA, as well as both clinic and regional director. Christine’s passion for providing high-quality clinical services to families enables her to support teams expanding ABA services across the state of Iowa and parts of Wisconsin. She has a bachelor’s degree in child development and family studies from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a master’s degree in social work with a focus in family therapy from Florida State University. Christine completed additional coursework at the Florida Institute of Technology to achieve her BCBA.

Christine Wilkins

The leadership team at Caravel Autism Health has a history of experience in clinical psychology, finance, accounting, and marketing. They have worked at various companies including the Wisconsin Early Autism Project, Inc, Riverside Psychiatric, Bellin Psychiatric Center, Wisconsin Department of Corrections, The Wellness Network, Safway Group, Merge Healthcare, KPMG, Wolf Point Growth Partners, LLC, CIVC Partners, Merrill Lynch, and Ford Motor Company. They have also received education from prestigious schools such as the Florida Institute of Technology, Fairleigh Dickinson University, Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management, Gies College of Business - University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, and Miami University.
