Bill Herman

Bill Herman has a diverse and extensive work experience in the legal field. Bill currently holds the role of Counsel at Caravel Law since November 2022. Prior to this, they were a Partner at Herman IP Barristers & Solicitors since June 2003. Bill also served as the Senior Intellectual Property Counsel at Viventia Biotech Inc. from 1997 to 2003 and as the Intellectual Property Counsel at Merck Generics North America from 1993 to 1997. Earlier in their career, they worked as an Associate at Bereskin & Parr from 1989 to 1992 and at Osler, Hoskin & Harcourt LLP from 1986 to 1989.

Bill Herman attended McGill University from 1977 to 1984. Bill obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Biological and Biomedical Sciences from 1977 to 1979. Bill then pursued a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Medical Genetics from 1979 to 1980. Finally, they completed a Bachelor of Common and Civil Law degree from 1980 to 1984.
