Dan Black

Dan Black has a diverse work experience in the legal field. Dan started their career as an Associate at McCarthy Tétrault in 1996 and worked there until 2001. Dan then became a Partner at McCarthy Tétrault from 2002 to 2006. Dan later joined Davis LLP as Counsel and worked there from 2008 to 2014. During this time, they also worked as a Lawyer (Practising in Association) at Caravel Law from 2014 to 2016. Dan then transitioned to Closing the Gap Healthcare Group where they held various roles, including Director of Human Resources & Legal Affairs from 2014 to 2015 and Vice President, Legal from 2015 until the present. Dan is currently employed at Axiom as a Lawyer.

Dan Black attended the University of Toronto from 1988 to 1991, where they earned their Bachelor of Arts degree in English and Philosophy. Following that, they enrolled at York University - Osgoode Hall Law School from 1991 to 1994 and obtained their Bachelor of Laws degree (LL.B.).
