Lisa McDowell

Lisa McDowell has a diverse work experience in the legal field. Lisa is currently working as Of Counsel at Caravel Law LLP since April 2023. Previously, they served as the General Counsel & Chief Risk Officer at Bantrel Co. from April 2019 to April 2021. Before that, they held the position of Vice President Legal & Regulatory, E&P Canada at Centrica from 2013 to 2018. Lisa also worked as a Partner at Stikeman Elliott LLP from 2009 to 2013 and as an Associate from 2005 to 2008. Prior to that, they served as Legal Counsel at Intier Automotive (Magna Group) from 2003 to 2005. Lisa started their career as an Associate at Stikeman Elliott LLP from 1999 to 2003 and previously worked as a Legal Counsel at Greenstone Resources from January 1997 to August 1999.

Lisa McDowell attended Western University from 1989 to 1992, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in French/German. Lisa then continued their education at the University of Toronto from 1992 to 1995, earning a LLB/JD degree in Law.
