Nathaniel Blair has extensive work experience in the field of biology and research. Nathaniel is currently working as the Director of Biology at Caraway Therapeutics, Inc. since January 2022. Prior to this, they held the role of Associate Director of Biology at the same company from May 2018 to January 2022.

Nathaniel's academic background includes a research fellowship at Children's Hospital Boston, where they focused on studying ion channels in the transient receptor potential (TRP) family, their activation mechanisms, and their roles in physiological processes. This fellowship lasted from February 2004 to April 2015, and involved projects related to the regulation of TRPC5 channels by GPCRs and calcium, as well as the activation and desensitization of TRPA1 channels by electrophilic chemicals.
Nathaniel Blair has an extensive education history. Nathaniel completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Biological Sciences from the University of Chicago between 1992 and 1996. Subsequently, they pursued their passion for Neurobiology and obtained a Ph.D. from Harvard University between the years 1999 and 2004.
