Sarah Headland

Sarah Headland is an accomplished scientist currently serving as the Director and Head of Biology at Sound Biologics since November 2023. Previously, Sarah held the position of Associate Director of Myeloid Biology at Immunai, where leadership was demonstrated in developing immunotherapy antibody assets for oncology. Sarah's extensive experience includes roles as Lead Scientist at Spring Discovery, Senior Scientist at Alector, and Senior Scientific Researcher at Genentech, contributing to complex pipeline projects and innovative research. Earlier career achievements include a Foundation Fellowship at Arthritis Research UK and postdoctoral research at Howard Hughes Medical Institute and William Harvey Research Institute, complemented by a PhD in Biochemical Pharmacology from Queen Mary University of London.
