Alain Marty

Alain Marty is the current Chief Scientific Officer at Carbios. Alain was previously a professor at INSA Toulouse from September 1992 to June 2015. Their areas of expertise include enzymology and process development, and their research focuses on enzymatic processes, enzyme evolution, and metabolic engineering. Alain has published approximately 60 papers and holds around 15 patents. Alain has also worked with industrial partners such as Pierre Fabre, Syngenta, Madoyl, Airbus, Sofiprotéol, and Toulousaine de céréales.

Alain Marty received a Diplôme d'ingénieur in Génie biochimique from the Institut national des Sciences appliquées de Toulouse. Alain went on to earn a Research Doctorate in Enzymologie from the same school.
