Caroline Ailhas has extensive work experience in various roles within the pharmaceutical and research fields. caroline is currently serving as the Project and Pharmaceutical Development Director at CARBOGEN AMCIS since December 2016. Before that, they worked at Ethypharm from 2011 to 2016, initially as a Galenic Project Manager and later as a Senior Galenic Project Manager. From 2009 to 2010, they worked as a Researcher at CNRS - Centre national de la recherche scientifique. Additionally, they had a role as a Scientist in Nanotechnologies at Alpha-O-peptides, a start-up in Biozentrum, from 2007 to 2008. Caroline began their career as a PhD student at the University of Basel from 2003 to 2006.

Caroline Ailhas pursued their education in the field of chemistry, specializing in physical chemistry. caroline obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Physical Chemistry from the University of Basel between the years 2003 and 2006. Prior to that, they completed a DEA (Diplôme d'études approfondies) in interface chemistry-biology at the University of Montpellier from 2001 to 2002. Earlier in their academic journey, Caroline Ailhas acquired a Master's degree in Structural Biochemistry from the University Toulouse 3 Paul Sabatier, studying from 1997 to 2001.
