Erik Lauterbach

Erik Lauterbach is an experienced chemist with a diverse background in pharmaceutical research and development. Currently serving as a Senior Chemist PR&D at Carbogen-Amcis AG since March 2008, Erik Lauterbach has managed multi-stage chemical process development and scale-up to 640 liters. Previous roles at the same company include Manager of Commercial Operations and Manager of PR&D, overseeing project planning, budgeting, and team supervision. Erik Lauterbach has also held positions at Siegfried as a Project Leader in chemical development, at Sigma-Aldrich as Laboratory Manager, and at Nycomed Austria as a Research Chemist, focusing on the development of new pharmaceutical compounds. Erik Lauterbach obtained a Ph.D. in Chemistry from the University of Virginia after earning a Diplomchemiker degree from The Philipp University of Marburg.
