Sarah Lyons

Sarah Lyons has a diverse work experience in the field of chemistry. Sarah is currently working as a Project Coordination Chemist at CARBOGEN AMCIS since June 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Project Chemist at the same company from February 2021 to March 2022. Before joining CARBOGEN AMCIS, Sarah was a Lead Chemist at Concept Life Sciences from September 2020 to February 2021. Sarah also worked as a Senior Scientist II at Charles River Laboratories from October 2016 to September 2020. Earlier in their career, Sarah held the position of Associate Medicinal Chemist at Domainex from October 2014 to October 2016. Before that, they gained valuable teaching experience as an Undergraduate Teaching Assistant at the University of Manchester from January 2011 to June 2014. Their professional journey started with a Process Research and Development industrial placement as a Process Chemist at AstraZeneca from September 2008 to September 2009.

Sarah Lyons completed their Master's degree in Science, with a focus on Chemistry with medicinal chemistry and work placement, from the University of Glasgow. Sarah then pursued further education at The University of Manchester, where they obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Organic Chemistry.
