Sylvain Simon

Sylvain Simon has extensive work experience in the field of regulatory affairs and biotechnology. Sylvain currently works as a Senior Manager Regulatory Affairs at CARBOGEN AMCIS, a position they have held since April 2023. Prior to this role, Sylvain served as a Manager Regulatory Affairs at the same company from June 2018 to April 2023. Before joining CARBOGEN AMCIS, they worked at Novartis as a Bioprocess Expert 2 Multiproducts Unit from May 2013 to May 2018. Sylvain also has experience at Sanofi Pasteur, where they held various roles including Product Process Engineer for IPV and Rabies vaccines, Analytical Laboratory Manager, and Head of AP&T. Sylvain began their professional career as a Trainee Biotechnology - Virology Engineer at Sanofi Pasteur in January 2011. Prior to that, Sylvain worked as a Microbiology- Immunology Lab Manager at High School SAINT MARC from September 2006 to September 2010. Sylvain also has experience as a Biochemistry Teacher at High School/University in Grenoble from September 2001 to September 2006.

Sylvain Simon completed their education in the field of biotechnology. In 1998, they enrolled in Ecole Normale Supérieure LYON, where they pursued a Magistère BMC (MSc) degree, which was completed in 2001. Later, from 2009 to 2011, they attended EICNAM and obtained a Biotechnology Engineer degree. In the same year, they also attended CNAM LYON for a brief period, completing an Advanced professional degree as a Biological industrial Manager with a major in quality assurance management.
