Craig Robinson

Craig Robinson has a diverse work experience in environment, health, and safety roles. Craig currently works as an Environment, Health and Safety Specialist at Carboline. Prior to this, they were the Director of Facilities Management & Planning at Western Nevada College, where they managed various aspects of facility operations and budgets. Craig also served as the Environmental Health & Safety Coordinator at the college. Before joining Western Nevada College, Craig worked as a Safety and Environmental Officer at Northwest Territorial Mint, where they focused on improving wastewater quality. Craig also worked as an Environment, Health & Safety Specialist at the University of California, Los Angeles, where they were responsible for hazardous waste management and compliance. Craig has prior experience as a Hazardous Material Program Supervisor at the University of Missouri - Saint Louis and as a Technical Services Manager at HWI Environmental Technologies. Craig started their career as a Field Chemist at Safety-Kleen, where they handled hazardous waste disposal and characterization.

Craig Robinson earned their Bachelor's Degree in Chemical and Environmental Engineering from the University of Iowa, completing their education from 1993 to 1998. Craig later pursued a Master's Degree in Public Policy and Administration from the University of Missouri-Saint Louis, studying from 2005 to 2011. Additionally, they obtained several certifications including Certified Hazardous Material Manager from the Institute of Hazardous Materials Management in 2013, California UST System Operator from the International Code Council in 2012, FEMA Professional Development Series from FEMA in 2012, IATA Dangerous Goods from IATA Training in 2012, RCRA Hazardous Waste Management in 2005, Certified Hazardous Materials Manager from the Institute of Hazardous Materials Management in 2003, OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER in 1999, and OSHA 501 - Trainer Course in OSHA Standards for General Industry from the OSHA Training Institute Education Center at Chabot-Las Positas Community College District in 2018.
