Mikko Kujala

Mikko Kujala has extensive experience in the field of research and development for paint and coating products. Mikko started their career in 2000 as a Research Chemist at Tikkurila Oyj, where they worked on various R&D projects related to metal surfaces. Mikko gained expertise in 2K polyurethane, alkyd, and stoving paints. In 2013, they were promoted to Senior Research Chemist and became a member of the Groupwide Expert Team for Metal Surfaces. From 2014 to 2016, they served as the RDI Manager, leading the R&D laboratory and a matrix organized expert team. Mikko was responsible for developing products for metal surfaces and overseeing a team of 10+ subordinates. In 2016, they joined Carboline as the Laboratory Manager and later became the R&D Manager in 2022.

Mikko Kujala earned a Master of Science degree in Applied Chemistry from Teknillinen korkeakoulu-Tekniska högskolan, where they studied from 1995 to 2000.
