Nicholas Baynes is a seasoned project manager with extensive experience in the technology and engineering sectors. Currently serving as Project Manager at Carbolite Ltd since June 2015, Baynes focuses on designing and building bespoke ovens and furnaces. Prior roles include Team Leader at ACAL Energy Limited, where Baynes enhanced fuel cell performance and durability, and Technical Consultant at DRFP Ltd, managing the development of a dental implant. Additionally, Baynes held the position of Principal Scientist at ITM Power, overseeing the fabrication processes for membrane electrode assemblies, and Group Leader at Cambridge Display Technology Ltd. Baynes began a career at Agilent Technologies as an R&D Engineer, specializing in semiconductor devices. Baynes holds a Ph.D. in Physics (Microelectronics) from the University of Cambridge and an MA in Physics from the University of Oxford.
