Ketaki Kolhekar's work experience begins with their most recent position as a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer at CarbonCapture Inc., starting in 2023. Prior to that, they worked at Virgin Hyperloop from 2020 to 2023, where they held the roles of Mechanical Design Engineer IV and Lead Mechanical Design Engineer- Power Electronics. In these roles, Ketaki led the development and validation of a suspension system for a hyperloop pod, as well as the mechanical design of a high-voltage power electronics unit.

Ketaki Kolhekar obtained a Bachelor of Technology degree in Mechanical Engineering from Vishwakarma Institute of Technology from 2009 to 2013. Later, they pursued a Master of Science degree in Manufacturing Engineering, specializing in Non-traditional Manufacturing, from the University of Cincinnati between 2014 and 2018. Additionally, Ketaki has achieved several certifications, including "Advanced Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerances Y14.5-2009" from Tata Technologies in December 2016, "Green Belt for Six Sigma Methodology" from SixSigma.us in October 2015. Ketaki also completed "NX 10 essentials training" and "Ready Engineer" courses from Tata Technologies, although the specific months and years of obtaining these certifications are unknown.
