Omid Ghaffari Nik, PhD.

Omid Ghaffari Nik, PhD. has an extensive work experience spanning from 2003 to 2022. From 2003 to 2005, they worked as a Junior Process Engineer at Maad Kimiya Farayand. From 2005 to 2007, they worked as a Research Engineer at SAMAN PAJOOHAN ARYA GOSTAR (SPAG) Co. During 2007 to 2008, they worked as a Process Engineer at Maad Process Co., Consulting Engineers. From 2008 to 2012, they were a PhD student at Université Laval in the Department of Chemical Engineering. From 2012 to 2022, they worked at Svante and CarbonCapture Inc. in various roles such as Senior Director, New Material Development & Testing, Director, New Material Development & Testing, Characterization & Test Manager, Team Lead- Advanced Cycle Development, Team Lead, Adsorbent Development, Process R&D Engineer, and Process Test Engineer. Omid also worked as a Postdoctoral Fellow at Queen's University in 2012, where they worked on CO2 capture using switchable solvents.

Omid Ghaffari Nik, PhD. received their PhD in Chemical Engineering from Université Laval in 2012. Omid obtained their Master's degree in Chemical Engineering from Iran University of Science and Technology in 2005, and their MSc in Chemical Engineering from Isfahan University of Technology in 2005. Omid'sundergraduate degree was a BSc in Chemical Engineering, which they received from University of Tehran in 2001.
