Lorenzo Merriman has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. In 2016, they started their career at Park Hyatt Sydney as a Food and Beverage Attendant, gaining experience in fine dining and event management. Lorenzo then served as the General Manager of The Basement, a university bar, where they oversaw operations, marketing, and staff hiring and training. Following this, Lorenzo worked as a Supervisor at Rockpool Dining Group, responsible for managing a Tex-Mex themed restaurant. Lorenzo also worked as a Servitør/Waiter at Rorbua, a traditional Norwegian restaurant, where they developed language skills and expanded their knowledge of food and beverage. Lorenzo then joined Cottage Point Inn as a Food and Beverage Attendant before taking on the role of Lecturer's Aide at the International College of Management Sydney (ICMS). Lorenzo gained experience as a Supervisor and Bartender at Chica Bonita Manly and later co-founded and served as Director of MyBrighterHome. Most recently, they worked at The Initiative as a Business Development Analyst, General Manager, and Operations Manager, overseeing operations and implementing strategies across multiple venues. Currently, Lorenzo is a Business Development Representative at Carbon Crusher.

Lorenzo Merriman has a diverse educational background. Lorenzo first pursued their Higher School Certificate from Northern Beaches Secondary College - Manly Selective Campus from 2010 to 2015. After completing their secondary education, they attended the International College of Management Sydney (ICMS) from 2016 to 2018, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, specializing in Hospitality Administration/Management. While enrolled at ICMS, they gained valuable knowledge and skills in the field of hotel and resort management.

Lorenzo further expanded their educational horizons by pursuing a Master's degree in International Business from the International College of Management Sydney (ICMS) between 2020 and 2022. Through this program, they broadened their understanding of global business practices, cross-cultural management, and international trade.

In addition to their formal education, Lorenzo has also acquired a certification in Responsible Service of Alcohol from the Office of Liquor, Gaming & Racing in December 2015. This certification demonstrates their compliance with the regulations and guidelines related to the responsible service and consumption of alcohol.
