Zara Ahmed

Zara Ahmed, DrPH, is currently the Director of Policy and Science Operations at Carbon Direct. Zara also serves as an Adjunct Faculty at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, teaching MPH courses. Prior to their current roles, Zara held various positions at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, including Government Affairs Lead for the COVID-19 Response. Zara holds degrees from Brown University, Harvard University, University of Michigan, and University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
