Spencer Miller

Spencer Miller is an experienced plant operator with a robust background in chemical processing and building systems management. Currently serving as a Senior Plant Operator at Carbon Engineering Ltd. since July 2019, Spencer specializes in the control of a chemical plant and participates in research and development for commercial-scale carbon capture processes. Previous roles include building operator at Cushman & Wakefield, where Spencer managed HVAC systems at the Comox Valley Hospital, and maintenance worker at Strathcona Gardens, focusing on building and refrigeration systems. Spencer began their career as a plumber apprentice at Rambow Mechanical Ltd. and gained foundational industrial experience as a power engineer at Catalyst Paper. Spencer holds an Industrial Automation Technology Diploma from North Island College and has pursued further education at Vancouver Island University.
