Alexander Mäkelä

Alexander Mäkelä is a strategy and sustainability professional with a diverse background across public, private, and non-profit sectors. They have over four years of experience in management and strategy consulting, two years in business development, and five years in social entrepreneurship, particularly focused on providing care for refugees and asylum seekers. Their public policy expertise spans over seven years, including significant roles at the European Commission and Facebook. Alexander earned an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management and holds advanced degrees in European Public Policy and Philosophy, Politics, and Economics from prestigious institutions. Currently, they serve as a Stripe Climate Fellow and co-founder of the Nordic Carbon Removal Association.
