Aaron Weinberg

Aaron Weinberg, MD MPhil, currently serves as the VP of Medical for Clinical Research and co-founder of Carbon for Research at Carbon Health, where responsibilities include building and overseeing medical operations in clinical research as a key care offering. In addition, Aaron holds positions as Medical Director of Program Development and National Medical Director of Clinical Research, focusing on integrating clinical research into national healthcare to enhance the quality and diversity of trials. At Cedars-Sinai, Aaron functions as a Staff Physician and Assistant Professor of Medicine, specializing in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine, with active involvement in research on venous thromboembolic disease, pulmonary hypertension, and COVID-19. Previous experience includes serving as a Medical Doctor at the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs. Aaron's educational background includes an MPhil in International Relations from the University of Cambridge, a Bachelor's degree in History from UCLA, an MD from UC Irvine, an Internal Medicine residency at UC Irvine, and a fellowship in Pulmonary & Critical Care Medicine at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center.
