David Harkonen has a diverse work experience in the advertising and marketing field. David began their career as a Marketing Communications Intern at the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society in 2009. Later that year, they became a Media Communications Intern at Campbell-Ewald, where they provided research and assistance to media planners on various accounts. In 2010, David joined Campbell-Ewald as an Account Coordinator and then moved on to become an Assistant Media Planner at Universal McCann. David eventually became a Senior Portfolio Associate - Media Planner at Universal McCann until 2014. In 2014, David joined Carbon Media Group as a Media Strategist and later transitioned into the role of Director of Strategy in 2020. Overall, David has gained experience in media planning, strategy development, and account coordination throughout their career.
David Harkonen pursued their education at Wayne State University from 2006 to 2010, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Business with a focus on Marketing/Advertising. Additionally, in September 2015, they acquired the MyMetrix Expert certification from comScore, Inc.
