Ómar Sigurbjörnsson

Ómar Sigurbjörnsson joined Carbon Recycling International in 2009 as a research scientist and served as the Director of Research and Development from 2010-2016. Since 2017 Ómar has been the Director of sales and marketing, responsible for sales of renewable methanol as well as development of commercial projects based on the ETL technology platform. Ómar received his M.Sc. degree in Physical Chemistry from the University of British Columbia in Vancouver and a B.Sc. degree in Chemistry from the University of Iceland. Previously he has worked as an academic researcher and in the aluminium industry in Iceland.
