Alec Kushnir

Alec Kushnir has over two decades of experience in various roles within the finance and energy sectors. Alec currently serves as the EVP of Investment and Origination at Carbon Streaming Corporation since June 2021. Prior to that, they worked at New Fortress Energy as Vice President from July 2018 to June 2021. Alec also held the position of Director of Asset Development at Noble Group, a global metals trading company, from September 2014 to June 2021. Alec was an Executive Committee Member at Jamalco, managing Noble's investment in the alumina refinery, from January 2015 to July 2018. Before that, Alec worked as a Director at CPM Group from March 2007 to August 2014. Alec held Vice President roles at CIT from March 2005 to February 2007 and ANZ Investment Bank from 2003 to 2005. Previously, they were a Manager at Sithe Energies from 2001 to 2002 and a Senior Associate at Dresdner Kleinwort from 1997 to 2001. Throughout their career, Alec has gained extensive experience in investment, origination, trading, and asset development.

Alec Kushnir obtained their BA degree in International Relations from American University between 1989 and 1993. Following this, they pursued an MBA in Finance at NYU Stern School of Business from 1994 to 1996.
