Alex Thomas

Alex Thomas has worked in a variety of roles and industries. Starting in 2014, Alex worked as a Chemist Intern at United Refining Company. In 2016, Alex began working at multiple companies simultaneously. They held the position of Quality Control Yoghurt Technician at Byrne Dairy from January to April, and then worked as a Wet Chemist at Microbac Laboratories, Inc. from March to June. Following this, Alex briefly worked as an Associate Chemist at IMR Test Labs from August to October before joining Corning Incorporated as a Development Engineer in October 2016. At Corning Incorporated, Alex held the position until November 2022. In April 2023, Alex began working as an Operations Manager for the Materials Laboratory R&D at Carbon Upcycling Technologies. Additionally, while studying at St. Bonaventure University from 2010 to 2015, Alex worked as a Physics Laboratory Assistant and later as a Physics Lab Teacher's Assistant from September 2013 to December 2014.

Alex Thomas attended St. Bonaventure University from 2011 to 2015, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Engineering Physics. In addition, Alex obtained two certifications: "Becoming Indistractable" from LinkedIn in February 2020 and "Programming Foundations: Fundamentals" from LinkedIn in January 2020.
