Thomas H. Smith III

Thomas H. Smith III currently serves as VFX Supervisor and Creative Director at Carbon since July 2021. Prior experience includes roles as a Freelance Senior Compositor at The Mill and as a Freelance Flame Artist at a52, both in 2021. Additionally, Thomas worked as a Creative Producer at Apple from July 2019 to January 2021 and held the position of VFX Supervisor - Lead Nuke/Flame Artist at Electric Theatre Collective from August 2016 to May 2019. Thomas has also undertaken multiple freelance compositing roles at various companies, including The Mill and Psyop, between 2015 and 2016. Thomas holds a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Graphic Art from the University of the Incarnate Word, completed between 2003 and 2005.
