Nick Carmean

Nick Carmean is currently a Senior Staff Research Scientist at Carbon, where they previously held positions as a Staff Research Scientist and Research Scientist. Prior to joining Carbon, Nick was a Ph.D. Candidate at the University of Florida, where they focused on developing new synthetic avenues for polymeric materials. They have also gained valuable experience as a Materials Science Intern at both HP and Carbon, and as an Undergraduate Researcher at Virginia Tech and an Undergraduate Intern at Synthonics, Inc. Nick holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Organic Chemistry and Polymer Chemistry from the University of Florida, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from Virginia Tech.
