Jonne Hirvonen is the Chief Operating Officer and a Board Member at Carbonaide since February 2023, focusing on transforming concrete into a carbon sink by mineralizing CO2. In parallel, Jonne serves as a Future Energy Leader with the World Energy Council in Finland, connecting young energy experts to introduce fresh perspectives in the energy sector. Previous experience includes a role as Key Account Manager with Business Joensuu Oy, where efforts concentrated on green transition investments, and as Chairman of the Board for Jyväskylän teknillinen seura, leading the organization's renewal. Jonne has also held positions as a Research Scientist at VTT and Reteres Oy, contributing to climate change solutions and combustion processes, and has served as an Assistant Teacher and Junior Research Assistant at Lappeenranta University of Technology. Educational qualifications include a Master’s Degree and Bachelor's Degree in Energy Technology from LUT University.
