Julie Grimes Waldorf

Julie Grimes Waldorf has a diverse and extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Julie is currently working at Carbonbase as the General Counsel & VP for Business Development, where they play a crucial role in building a fintech platform for sustainable transitions and developing blockchain solutions for supply chain traceability and emission tracking. Prior to this, Julie served as a Trustee on the Board of Trustees at China Institute. Julie also worked as the Corporate Counsel at Ford Models, General Counsel at The Vitamin Shoppe, and CEO & Chief Legal Officer at TravelCharts. Before transitioning into corporate roles, Julie gained experience as a Corporate Associate at Pillsbury and Winthrop Stimson Putnam & Roberts. Julie also served as a Clerk for Judge Rhesa H. Barksdale at the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit and worked at the Office of the U.S. Trade Representative and USAID in various capacities.

Julie Grimes Waldorf earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Philosophy, French, and Political Science from the University of Mississippi, where they studied from 1988 to 1992. Following their undergraduate studies, they attended Harvard Law School from 1992 to 1995 and obtained a Doctor of Law (J.D.) degree with a concentration in International Law.
