Allen McGonagill

Allen McGonagill is a professional with extensive experience in strategy and management, currently serving as Chief Strategy Officer at Carbonwave, focusing on ultra-regenerative, plant-based biomaterials from seaweed since May 2020. Prior roles include Head of Strategy at Purple Carrot, where the emphasis was on advancing the plant-based revolution through vegan meal kits, and CEO at Relay Power, providing community solar customer management services. Allen's experience also includes General Manager for Community Solar at Next Step Living, and roles at Altman Vilandrie & Company, where consulting on smart grid and telecommunications strategies was key. Early in the career, Allen managed 95.5 WBRU, a nonprofit radio station. Allen holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Studies and Economics from Brown University.
