Maria Schagen has a diverse work experience that spans several companies and roles. Maria started their career at A.S.V. Dizkartes, where they served as a Kascommissie lid and later as Penningmeester Vereniging van het Bestuur from September 2011 to January 2014. Maria then joined PwC as an Associate in September 2014 and was promoted to Senior Associate in September 2017. In April 2018, they left PwC and joined PitPoint clean fuels as a Business Controller, where they worked until January 2020. Maria then moved to Total as a Business Controller Mobility & New Energies from January 2020 to December 2020. In 2021, they joined Blink Charging as Finance Europe and later founded their own company, The Financial Fit.
Maria Schagen completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) in Accountancy & Controlling from the University of Groningen between 2008 and 2013. Maria went on to pursue a Master of Science (MS) in Accountancy at the same university from 2013 to 2014. Additionally, they obtained an Executive Master of Accountancy from the University of Groningen, which they completed between 2014 and 2017.
