Syed Kazmi

Syed Kazmi is the Executive Director of Business Development at Card Factory. Syed has over 12 years of experience in retail, with a focus on international expansion.

Syed Kazmi started their career as a Senior Operations Manager at Tesco in 2009. Syed was promoted to Head of Retail at Landmark Group in 2012 and then to International Director at Hamleys of London in 2015. In 2018, they were recruited by HEMA as their International Business Director. Syed developed the strategic vision and road map for the multi-channel franchise, wholesale and licensed channels for new and existing markets. Syed also had full P&L responsibility. Kazmi was with HEMA for just over 3 years before joining Card Factory in August 2021.

The educational career for Syed Kazmi would include a BA in Business and Management from Leicester Business School.

Syed Kazmi reports to Darcy Willson-Rymer, CEO. They are on a team with Ciaran Stone - General Counsel & Company Secretary, Kris Lee - Chief Financial Officer.
