Kashif Akhtar has a wide range of experience in software engineering. kashif began their career in 2011 as a Flex/Java Developer at Cordis Technology Limited, where they were responsible for developing UI components and views with Cairngorm and integrating projects with SVN. In 2013, they joined SynapseIndia as a Senior Software Engineer and Flex Java Developer, where they worked on Flex Flash Projects and integrated UI components with Java web services. In 2015, they moved to HyTechPro as a Senior Software Engineer, and in 2016 they joined mElimu Learning Management System as an Associate Team Lead and Technical Lead, responsible for code development, architectural design implementation, client communication, project coordination, testing and delivery. Currently, they are a Senior Software Engineer at CARD91.

Kashif Akhtar attended St Albert's High School and then went on to Magadh University where they obtained a Btech in computer science from 2007 to 2011.
