Andreas Pletscher

Andreas Pletscher has a diverse work experience spanning several prestigious companies. Andreas is currently working as the Chief Operating Officer at the Cardano Foundation since February 2023. Prior to this, they held various roles at PwC Switzerland, including Director Advisory FS from July 2020 to January 2023, Director Risk Assurance FS from July 2017 to June 2020, and Senior Manager Risk Assurance from January 2015 to June 2017.

Before their time at PwC, Andreas served as an Executive Director at Bank Vontobel AG from August 2013 to December 2014 and from April 2012 to August 2013. Andreas also had a long tenure at Schroders as a Director from January 2003 to March 2012.

Andreas began their career at IBM as a Senior Consultant from 2000 to 2002 and started gaining professional experience at PwC Switzerland as an Assistant Manager from January 1997 to December 2000.

Andreas Pletscher completed their education at Hochschule für Wirtschaft Zürich from 1993 to 1997. During this period, they earned a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) with a focus on Finance, General. Additionally, in 2017, Andreas obtained the Project Management Professional (PMP)® certification from the Project Management Institute.
