Alena Tobin

Alena Tobin has extensive work experience starting as a Lifeguard and progressing to Deck Supervisor at the Town of Caledon from 2015 to 2021. Alena also worked as a Professional Recruiter at Aston Carter in 2022. Alena then transitioned to various intern roles focused on communications and fundraising at organizations like DeafBlind Ontario Services in 2020 and 2021. Alena gained experience in events and communications as an intern at Girls Inc. of York Region in 2021. Additionally, they worked as a Foundations Communications Intern at Hamilton Conservation Authority during the same year. Alena's most recent role was at Cardata, where they started as a Business Development Representative in 2022 and later became the Business Development Team Lead. Throughout their career, they have demonstrated a strong focus on communication, fundraising, and business development.

Alena Tobin attended McMaster University from 2017 to 2022, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts - BA, Honours degree with a focus on Communications and Political Science.
