Heather Madrid

Heather Madrid is a Patient Care Specialist at Cardiac RMS. Heather previously worked as a Cardiovascular Diagnostic Technician at PeaceHealth from February 2016 to October 2020. In this role, Heather provided patient care to support with cardiac pacemakers, ICDs, and implantable loop monitors. Heather also interrogated, analyzed and reprogrammed multiple brands of pacemakers and defibrillators. Heather also has experience working as a server at Weston Golf and Country Club from September 2013 to December 2015. Prior to that, they worked as an Exercise Physiologist at Newton-Wellesley Hospital from February 2012 to December 2015. In this role, Heather independently performed cardiac stress tests and took medical histories. Heather also monitored vital signs, physiologic changes, and reported findings of tests. Heather has also interned in Nuclear Cardiology at Massachusetts General Hospital from September 2010 to November 2010.

Heather Madrid has a Master’s Degree in Clinical Exercise Physiology from Northeastern University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Kinesiology and Exercise Science from Colby-Sawyer College. Heather is certified by the American Heart Association and the American Stroke Association in AHA BLS and ACLS.

They work with Sally Pesavento - Patient Care Specialist, Troy Muffler - Patient Care Specialist, and Chris Kogut - Patient Care Specialist. Their manager is Alicia Mujica, Patient Care Manager.
